Privacy Policy

This page is structured to be launch-credible now and easy to replace with final counsel-approved copy before paid rollout.

Founder and legal review still required

Replace this page with your final privacy policy before accepting live customer data. Keep the section structure below so parish customers can quickly understand what is collected, why it is stored, and how support requests are handled.

What this app stores

Our Parish Voice stores parish operational data used to run OCIA week to week, including inquiry submissions, candidate records, attendance, tasks, milestones, communication logs, and parish team membership.

Some records may include pastoral or sacramental preparation details. Parish teams should only store information they are permitted to retain and should limit access to staff and volunteers with a genuine ministry need.

How access is controlled

Data is scoped by parish membership, and the app uses role-based access patterns together with Supabase row-level security to keep one parish from seeing another parish’s records.

Parish administrators remain responsible for granting access carefully, removing former team members promptly, and reviewing who can view or edit sensitive notes.

What final legal copy should cover

  • Who the data controller is and how to contact them.
  • What parish, candidate, and staff data is collected.
  • How long data is retained and when it is removed.
  • Which processors are used, including Supabase, Vercel, and Resend.
  • How a parish can request correction, export, or deletion support.
